As a rule, as long as it is safe to access we can remove waste from most locations.
We assess each location accordingly subject to specific site risk assessment.
We do not compromise our own safety and that of our customers.
Unfortunately if access is deemed unsafe from our own site specific risk assessment, then we will not be able to carry work out.
This could be down to unsafe stairwells, confined spaces or accessibility.
As we operate as a "Man and Van" service, all we ask is that we have safe vehicle access for loading.
We’re happy to collect your rubbish from multiple locations on your premises including across several rooms, there is no need to put it all in one location.
It can be helpful when the waste is clearly separated or in one place, particularly if someone else is showing us what to remove, and also to help provide a quote.
This can make the clearance go a little faster and reduce disruption, but it is certainly not a requirement.
As each job is different, we dont have set prices.
When you get in touch with us we can give you a estimate specific to your enquiry.
If, upon arrival, there is more waste than indicated on your enquiry, we will discuss the difference from the price estimate / quote we gave, with the customer before starting work.
Our prices quoted / estimated are giving reasonable time to carry out the works.
If waste is strewn in very small quantities over a large area you may want to consider bagging this waste to ensure we remove it all and to ensure there are no additional charges.
Waste materials are taken to licensed commercial recycling facilites.
>95% avoids landfill through energy from waste (EFW) and recycling
Waste gets picked off all its recycleable materials, its only then that non recycleable materials go to an Energy from Waste plant.
Energy From Waste is the process of generating energy in the form of electricity and/or heat from the primary treatment of waste, or the processing of waste into a fuel source.
With our House Clearance Services and Commercial Property Clearances we plant trees to grow into the forests and woodlands of the future.
The creation of woodlands and forests will not only offset more carbon than we generate through our own operations, it will also provide benefits to local biodiversity and wildlife habitats.
Although >95% of waste avoids landfill through energy from waste (EFW) and recycling, when there are reuseable items, we often use local charities to make donations to.
These donations can often make a huge difference to someone less fortunate than ourselves, and provide well needed income to charities to fund their ongoing endeavours.
Every house clearance can be different, there can be items of higher value within the property, we can offset some of this against the charge of a clearance, and in some instances we may even pay to clear your property.
We aim to make what can be complicated and difficult times, as smooth as possible.
We reserve the right to sell items from any Domestic or Commercial clearances.
As part of our sustainabily commitment, should there be any items that are deemed of intrinsic value, we reserve the right to sell these items to offset our costs.
You can pay cash, bacs or by card.
We accept all major Credit and Debit cards.
Unfortunately we do not accept American Express.
Usually bank transfers are used for the higher value services such as Dommestic and Commercial Clearances, often where solicitors are dealing with the estate.
Should you wish to pay in this way, we will provide our banking details.
We supply all customers with an electronic Waste Transfer Document, which forms a key part of your Duty of Care.
This is emailed to you once the job is completed along with your payment receipt.
This builds a audit trail of your waste, from start of job, to transfer.
All waste is disposed of at a local licensed commercial waste transfer station, peace of mind that your waste is being handled correctly, and not fly tipped.
Our Waste Transfer Document will detail the time and date of collection, our vehicle registration, waste type and amount removed.
We email our receipt and waste transfer document to you once the works are completed.
Should you require a paper copy, please let us know.
It is your duty of care to ensure that your waste is disposed of correctly.
We are fully licensed and insured, and only use fully licensed and insured commercial waste transfer sites.
We will always provide you with a digital Waste Transfer Document and Receipt.
